WHEN THE APPOINTMENT IS FINISHED

• Do NOT shampoo hair for at least 48 hours after initial extension application
• You may experience a tension headache during the first few days after application: this is normal and will go away with time
• An itchy scalp is normal for the first week while your scalp is adjusting to the new tension and hair on your head
• Use extension specific hairbrush

BRUSHING THE EXTENSIONS

• Always start from the bottom and work your way up
• Hold the extensions at the top to avoid pulling on your natural hair
• Brush hair multiple times a day to prevent extensions from tangling or matting
• Run your fingers through the bonds in case there are any stuck together
• Do not brush aggressively or pull from the root

WASHING DIRECTIONS

• Do not wash your hair more than 2 - 3 times per week, don't over wash
• Use Sulfate Free products
• Avoid natural products and oily shampoo & conditioner
• Use moisturizing conditioners after washing and do a deep conditioning treatment to keep hair soft
• When applying conditioner, try to avoid applying directly to the roots
• Do not leave bonds wet for long periods of time. It is best to dry bonds completely after washing your extensions
• After being in a pool, hot tub or any other chemically treated water, be sure to clean your hair with shampoo and conditioner

STYLING DIRECTIONS

• Only use hair products recommended by your Extension Technician to avoid any products that may not be suitable for extensions
• When styling with hot tools avoid applying heat directly on the bonds
• When curling and styling your hair, keep heat away from the bonds
• Do not use any over the counter chemicals such as: perm solution or straightening treatments (relaxers)
• Avoid high and / or tight pony tails for the first 3 days
• Do not color or dye the extensions

SLEEPING DIRECTIONS

• Using a soft hair tie, sleep with your hair in a loose pony tail or braid to avoid your extensions tangling during the night
